According to World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, people should expect a ramp up in Covid-19 cases, and death. Blaming failures of multiple governments, Director-General Ghebreyesus warns that people still need to take precautionary measures to stay safe. In terms of keeping onesself from getting the deadly virus, Director-General Ghebreyesus states the precautions are the same.
Social distancing, wearing masks, keeping 10 feet apart, limiting ones social circles, and limited to no travel for immunocompromised individuals is the only way to stop the spread of the disease. The deaths from the Coronavirus in the United States, have soared over 100,000 deaths and are still climbing. Individuals are still being risky, not wearing masks, returning to, “life as normal,” without taking precautions. Vulnerable populations are being placed at even higher risks, with individuals fighting against mandates and guidelines implemented to slow the spread.
For the spread to stop, for Coronavirus to go away, people have to take the necessary steps to aid medical professionals, as they do what they can to find a resolution. Without each others cooperation, nothing much is going to change. Wearing a masks helps in slowing the spread of the virus. Do your part and keep yourself and others, safe.
